First up, Tanya's "going to dinner"-wear is ever so much hotter than her "catching a bus" wardrobe. I have to say that she is one fine-looking lady.
No, but better than that, she's really fun to hang out with. She made all these grammar-related jokes, which I have to say I didn't get, but they sounded funny, and then we started talking art.
She's got this massive grounding in paleography and the history of illumination and illustration, and we started talking 13th century codices and inks and allegorical religious paintings. She talked about this amazing 15th century illuminated Book of Hours she'd seen when she was in Europe, and then we talked about pigments and how ancient writers who talked about "sapphires" were probably actually referring to lapis lazuli.
Anyway, we ended up having a great time. Tanya was really glad to get her book back (turns out she's not a goth - it's something to do with her work, but whatever), and she also really dug the sketch I did of her (which I'll post up as soon as I'm done with this journal entry).
Got her number, too; will have to make plans to do something else together in the near future.
You forgot the best part of having a superpowered baby. One day, when the lad is old enough for it, you can send him back in time to "pwn" the moron that tagged your fence.
Oh, yeah, I'm totally in for that plan. Some tagger's going to be spraying my fence, and then BAM! Radioactive cyborg assassin! "My name is Tipsila. Prepare to die."
While she's back in time, she can get me Vincent Price's autograph, too.

That's the best part of superpowers. Manipulating your past so you lead an ideal life. Although that could potentially cause a paradox where you never get the powers, but who cares about logic and physics when it's a cool idea?
I did have a thought about the tagging. I checked around and found Phillip's blog, and in one of his old entries he mentions a punk that was waiting after a climbing session. The kid sprayed Jodie and his car with purple, if I remember the entry correctly. Think this could be the same kid?
I found your website while briefly looking into what the hell the email I received recently was going on about. It seems it was from the same person that sent you that weirs coded message. Anyway, that is not the point of this message, the point is that I consider myself to be a bit of a deviant and yet I did not know that this place existed, the art is fantastic. I am into body art, such as tattoo's, piercings and implants. I was wondering if you had any good tattoo's you wouldn't mind posting on here. I have a few that I will try and post, the one on the back of my neck is my favorite.
